MISSION 770 FREEDOM

770 Freedom is a worthy successor to our legendary 770 model. The goal of replacing 770 was to improve this model in specific areas.

The company has ensured that the frequency range has been further expanded. Secondly, the Mision project team believed that the bass response could be stronger and with a larger transient attack. Thirdly, we wanted to increase the available inventory so that the system does not reach saturation at high levels. Finally, we wanted to increase efficiency in the era of digital media.

For the midbass membrane, a completely new membrane made of advanced homopolymer material impregnated with certain minerals (the formula is not made public by Mission) to offer optimal mass, stiffness, Q and opaque sound.

The voice coil is manufactured using a high-temperature aluminum mold and is carefully vented to increase power. The propulsion system is exceptionally strong due to the powerful magnet that we used, which was achieved thanks to the precise geometrical shape of the pole, which in turn is covered with brass. This arrangement causes minimal losses of magnetic flux in the field.

The controller is composed of a sophisticated rigid magnesium chassis. The high frequency unit is carefully designed for extreme power and shows exceptional linearity of power / frequency response and lack of high saturation at high levels. It is additionally cooled with oil to avoid temperature-related aberrations and to increase the saturation thresholds.

The box construction is based on a unique, multi-threaded geometry that provides stiffness during transient low frequency attacks without staining a very open and transparent middle band. The enclosure walls are flexibly suppressed to control and suppress resonances and minimize unnecessary acoustic signals to ensure minimal distortion of the acoustic phase.

The Freedom woofer behavior is completely unusual for a reflective speaker and this is achieved by carefully integrating the Qs drive unit in relation to 37 liters of internal volume and the use of the bass-reflex Mission port.

Freedom is a powerful expression of Mission's experience and technology. In combination with a high quality control unit, we get an exciting and very realistic sound.
