Impressions from listening to this charming Pioneer receiver from the late seventies.

Modest in form, classically beautiful silver panel with a tastefully illuminated analog scale. It was the successor to the well-received 650 model, but most importantly, it has charming illuminated power indicators. We tested the receiver on the unique Pioneer floorstanders from our offer. We had the pleasure of listening to this set in the company of exceptionally beautiful and pleasant music with Brazilian connotations. Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto is an outstandingly recorded album from 1963, it is not without reason that this recording appears often at the presentations of Hi-End constructions. The sound of Stan Getz's tenor saxophone is astonishing. Pioneers conveyed the sounds of acoustic instruments in an incredibly realistic and spatial way.
