The subject amplifier was acquired through a collector's exchange with a colleague from Western Europe, hence I know his origin well and I know that he had only one owner. We listened to this equipment, among others on the top model Kef Reference 105/3 floor heating available in the offer - I wanted to choose a set worth listening to.

The Kefy items are made in an extremely perfect way, gigantic weight, brilliant construction, real masterpieces of carpentry, acoustic engineering and mechanics. Inside the extremely massive chests, two powerful 200 mm bass speakers are positioned on a powerful axis. In the first time in the company's history a unique, patented Uni-Q transducer was used, where the dome of the bass midrange driver works with a dome tweeter protected by a metal mesh, a highly effective sound reproduction.

It is a six-speaker system, high sensitivity, very high output power and high resistance to peak overload, made as a highly developed continuation of the great 104/2 model - soon again with us.

An integral part of the set is a module in a unique color containing two mid bass transducers with die-cast aluminum bodies and the Uni-Q transducer described above, just below the bass-reflex outlet. The housing is glued 40 mm with a pyramid sponge used in sound studios. loudspeaker has a very complex construction masking with a beautiful logo, mounted magnetically, no cracking pins - 100 percent stiffness and quality, transparent sound.

 The AU-11000A amplifier surprises visually with a multitude of functions, a number of switches and convenient filters, user-friendliness, even for a layman. The equipment does not heat up even during longer listening sessions, thanks to the extensive heat sinks and all outputs on the outer sides of the housing

The above configuration allowed to display spectacular sound, gigantic current reserve of the amplifier, 915 W power consumption and Kef music power at the level of 300 W ensures proper resistive, power and sound adjustment, no discoloration, with a uniquely multidimensional scene with surprising dynamics and breath. class for yourself ... :)
