GOODMANS DIMENSION 8

Exceptionally inspiring floor tiles from British Goodmans. The construction was created in 68! It is a four-way, 16-speaker speaker system, with additional powerful passive membranes with a special suspension system.

Dimension 8 is a 4-way set, boxes are trapezoidal, mounted in two mutually distant angles. This arrangement extends the stereoscopic region in the listening room, first by direct sound radiation, and secondly by sound reflections (indirect radiation). Thanks to the bi-directional radial surface, optimum sound quality is obtained, making this construction clearly better than conventional loudspeaker loudspeakers with direct exposure. We've had a similarly stylistic Meridian loudspeaker system, related listening experience. Goodmans says that this set can be controlled with an amplifier, even with a power of 10 W, so the lamp will work well. Even the object Akai with low power was able to drive this set. The Goodmans structure is totally perfect, made entirely of wood. bottom of the chests at the back there is an electronics section, cooled by a passive diaphragm, in the front on the sides section of two midbass speakers, specific membrane midrange drivers and Goodism's big dome, of course, 16 loudspeakers in total!, + two passive passive membranes in charactistic for aluminum die-casting brands On the fronts there are 4 midbass speakers working on them, which are equipped with mid-range speakers and large domes doing a great job in upper medium and high tone registers. Cabasse has successfully used the dome construction, it's unbelievable, but you can see how it works :), two bass speakers with each side of the chest + rear passive membranes, this multi-speaker configuration provides the effect of ubiquitous, non-directional stereo, great detail, the generated music scene knocks down, certainly one of the more complex and musical sets that was revitalized, impossible to get ... Great job here they make high efficiency midbass speakers, they have lower suspensions of almost the same diameter as the diaphragm :) The crossover cuts off the frequency for 80 Hz bass! The set generates very low bass coming down at 25 Hz!

And now the conclusion - Bose company on its constructions patented the slogan-Everywhere® and Direct Reflecting®, or reflected sound, and yet the listening room differ in architecture, the amount of furniture, the structure of walls ... the total Goodmans advantage is that we have a natural sound very distant .. like in Audiorama 7000, which will soon be available again in our SVA. But here we have powerful boxes, transducers create with it an integral whole, with it we feel the real sound of musical instruments, which are undoubtedly these chests ... Having them centrally in front of you in the living room we get the impression that despite the huge depth of the body completely blend into the background ... Maskers are also a small piece of art, consist of two independent parts. They are after a comprehensive revitalization and tuning, although now they sound sensational and they are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo ... :)
