 Today I present great listening monitors from the Japanese audio market giant since the 1960s.

The four-digit series from the 70s were considered by far the best in history and this is exactly the case with the monitors in question.

 With great satisfaction I present this extremely successful model, from the previously presented lower model 3200A differs not only with the power and diameters of the drivers, but with a clearly perceptible deeper bass, and the shape of the upper tweeter module creating the AMBIENCE effect

The Sansui SP-3700A is a five-speaker design, a four-way speaker system with direct and reflected sound exposure. The ideal location of the sound image and natural reflection from the elements of the environment ~ the best of all possible ways of sound exposure !. It has two additional horn type ultra high tweeters working under the top grille, angled up and out to fully utilize (usually ignored) the sound properties of the ceiling and walls of the listening room, reflecting the sound. The low-frequency, mid-range, high-frequency and twin AMBIENCE loudspeakers (five in total) generate an exceptionally wide spectrum spectrum with direct and reflected sound. The casing, grilles are after perfect revitalization. Please note how the tuning looks on the Jentzen Audio Dennmark components after tuning. The inside of the boxes is perfectly damped with 20-year-long acoustic foam. Thanks to these meticulous treatments, we have achieved a significant improvement in sound quality, perfect separation and detail, and meaty deepened bass.

These vintage speakers are in excellent condition, and to be honest they sound fantastic after our tuning and revitalization! . These are definitely not average speaker sets. Certainly sonically and visually impressive and they are definitely audiophile quality. Each speaker works at 8 ohms with a rated power of 120 watts. Considering the continuous power of the set, they can easily handle even high power levels. The low-frequency and medium-tone drivers are of a strong construction and equipped with rigid frames being precise aluminum castings with the proud SANSUI logo (as you know, most speakers in this Sansui only have cheap cold pressed steel structures, and productions after the 1980s are already usually composite or plastic). Both of these transducers have very good textile suspensions. The boxes for obvious reasons were perfectly lined with 40 mm acoustic foam with 20 years of service life. The original toxic glass wool went for recycling :)

This set is very well designed and equipped with five transducers in each case. Each of them has a huge 380 mm woofer, one mid-range loudspeaker, 160 mm diaphragm, one in front 50 mm high dispersion horn high tone and two 50 mm ultra high tone horny AMBIENCE horn tweeters
