The membrane is covered on a 360 degree circumference entirely with a metal mesh, a magnetic system based on ferrite magnets. Summarizing, Elac 215 t pi offers outstanding sound, extraordinary beauty and class, it's hard to compare them with something alternative. If it's not color, they would play at home on us ... :)

Comparing the performance of 215 4 pi with current productions, (decomposing speaker sets into prime factors, I certify with sadness that with every decade, even such powers as Elac, from the beginning of his factory in Kiel, Germany (not to mention, because it's sad, about companies that have moved production to China for a long time) no longer make production with such reverence, panache and uncompromising, I will not mention the weight of the chests and the currently thin wall thickness, and those speakers with plastic bodies!) what is now produced is beautiful, shines , it captivates with design, but it plays vaguely ... old is gold ...

This set, produced in the 90s, creates a unique music scene, impossible to fake even then or absolutely now :)
