Another highlight of my series of perfect German monitors from the early 1970s. At that time, great care was taken in the production of audio equipment. What is intriguing to us is the design and construction stage, how it was tuned, if we believe the German speakers, they were acoustic engineers from Hannover confronted their actions with the musicians of the Hannover NDR orchestra, and the great conductor Herbert von Karajan participated in the project of TL 800 monitors. It comes as no surprise then that these monitors are also great for classics. Telefunken designs have always been famous for their strong construction and excellent quality. The grilles are made of a milled thick plate and mounted inside. In this model, all drivers are mounted from the center of an extremely thick plate. frontal.

A set with a very rich, detailed sound.The company does not impress with exorbitant parameters, especially power, but these monitors reproduce a truly impressive music scene with a wealth of details and natural, fleshy bass, I heartily recommend!

Please note the powerful Alnico magnet for the tapped woofers. The method of mounting these drivers is identical to the iconic early Saba models. The listening session was carried out on the Sansui and Pioneer SX-750 models, which are very well perceived by audiophiles, and famous for their outstanding sound. In this configuration we get a beautiful, multifaceted music scene with great details, with warm deep bass and charming vocal midrange, these are exceptionally musical monitors with great dynamics, I heartily recommend.
