It is used to optimize the final acoustic sound in a particular area. Front horn Oris500 can intensify sound frequencies from 500Hz by 3dB and direct it to the listener. The horn can partially compensate inadequate acoustics of the listening space. It improves sound performance at isolated rooms with minimal sound reverberation. It is made from oak wood for its hardness and perfect acoustic features.
Another option of how to improve audio quality and tune the directivity of speaker can be the use of the phase stabilizer. It compensates sound pressure at the center speaker driver and prevents acoustic reflection between walls of the smaller height of the diaphragm and directs the acoustic pressure directly to the listener.
The length of the phase stabilizer is optional and its availible from 40mm to 80mm. Its made from dried oak wood for its hardness and great reflectivity. The influence of phase stabilizer is obvious within trebles localization. All adaptors fit well using magnetic base but are only suitable with FE206EN driver.
These are the leading High End terminals, which are available as an optional replacement of standard terminals. Terminals WBT 702.01 TopLine Gold Plated are connected with four silver-plated braided conductors with cross-section of 6mm2.
Marble pedestal is an optional accessory or decorative addition to the High End speakers Evolution.

For standard constructions of multiband speaker crossover splits the signal into separate speaker drivers so that the tweeter driver is only playing high frequency, midrange driver only middle frequency and woofer driver only bass frequency.
In the crossover are used capacitors, which due to its capacity delay the phase signal at the crossover frequency to the 90° and because of the coils, which due to its inductance shifts signal’s phase forward by 90°. Physically, speaker’s diaphragms go against each other in this dividing frequency and their acoustic pressure is subtracted. To the human ear the crossover frequency between high and midrange speaker drivers is the most sensitive. The human auditory system locates dimensionality based on the volume difference and phase shifting signal in the left and right ear. Full range speakers do not contain frequency crossover and do not shift signal’s phase.
The base of the construction of speaker with full-range driver is the horn baffle. A long time ago people noticed the acoustic attributes of expanding animal horn. Edison’s famous invention phonograph from 1877 and also the first gramophone invented 10 year later were based on the same principles as the exponencial horn baffle which we are using as well.
Exponencial horn baffle serves to improve the efficiency of the connection between the speaker’s driver and the surrounding air. Horn baffle can be thought of as an “acoustic transformer”, which provides impedance adaptation between a dense material of the speaker driver membrane (paper, metal, wood) and less dense surrounding air. The result is a more efficient transfer of acoustic output from the speaker drive. Angular coverage, or radiation pattern of horn baffle is determined by the shape, the length of the baffle and the roundness at the end. Moreover its angular coverage is depended on the radiated frequency.
The lower frequency limit of a horn baffle is based on its total length. The longer transline, the lower frequencies. It also depends on the size of the membrane of the speaker driver and the length of the horn. It is important to balance these systems, because a too long horn (in a relation to the size of the speaker driver diaphragm) loses its dynamics on the low frequencies.
By many years of development and many tests we have reached to this size and a shape of the cabinet, which is ideal for highly sensitive 8” full-range drivers that we use.
The “ground plan” of the High End speakers Evolution is only 45 x 50 cm. These don’t take much more space than conventional loudspeakers.
